ABOUT US

Insolvency Made Simple.

Who Are We?

We are a specialised personal insolvency practice passionate about helping people and their business, and those who are owed money, navigate their journey through bankruptcy or personal insolvency with the shared goal to improve financial wellbeing.

We understand that financial distress, personal or business-related, can happen to anyone. People who enter into bankruptcy are everyday people who have experienced some unforeseen unfortunate event which has left them unable to pay their bills. Such as the COVID-19 pandemic, unemployment, illness or separation.

We are the specialised bankruptcy and personal insolvency team to help improve lives and get personal finances back on track.

What Do We Do?

We see first hand how damaging debt shame can be on our clients and their loved ones, and assist individuals in financial distress. We help work through options and solutions with understanding and fairness.

We are passionate about reducing the stigma and shame surrounding bankruptcy and personal insolvency, by sharing information and delivering our services in a professionalflexible, and modern approach. With the common goal to improve financial wellbeing.

We help people understand and engage in the personal insolvency process and seek fair outcomes for all involved.

Bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy is one personal insolvency option and is a legal process where if you find yourself unable to pay your debts, you can be release from them. Bankruptcy makes it possible for you to have a fresh start and a breath of relief and financial fresh air while the process is ongoing.

There are two types of bankruptcies: voluntary or involuntary. For voluntary bankruptcy, someone files themselves because cannot repay what they owe; whereas a creditor can force an individual into bankruptcy to re-compensate the debt owed which is also known as a sequestration order.

Bankruptcy is just one of several options available for those who can’t afford paying off all their debt, but you shouldn't limit yourself into thinking this is your only option! Contact us for professional assistance to understand your situation better and explain what the next steps will look like.

Personal Insolvency.

Personal insolvency is when you owe more money than you have. If you are struggling to pay your bills or keep up with other payments, it is best to get help early. Signs of personal insolvency might include:

* Not being able to pay bills on time

* Calls from "Unknown number"

* Frequent letters or past due letters from creditors

There are different options available to people who are having trouble paying their debts. Each option has its own pros and cons, so one option might not be the best for your individual circumstances. Clare Corrigan, our registered trustee is experienced in helping people who are personally insolvent understand the options available for them.
